In honor of January’s Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, CrescentCare will hold a cervical cancer screening event on Saturday, January 29 from 9 am to 12 pm at its MidCity location (3308 Tulane Ave.). To limit visitors for COVID safety, appointments are required by calling 504-821-2601.

Health insurance providers fully cover Pap smears as preventive care, including Medicare and Medicaid. Those who are uninsured and meet income requirements are eligible for sliding scale services at a discounted rate, and assistance is available for those who qualify. We’ll have self-care gifts for those who attend, courtesy of our partners at Avita Pharmacy and Labcorp.
