Victor Nguyen is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has been serving patients at CrescentCare for over seven years and brings nearly 12 years of nursing experience to his role. Originally from Vietnam and raised in New Orleans, Victor earned his LPN degree from Delta College in Baton Rouge after also studying at Our Lady of the Lake.

Victor is passionate about helping people and finds deep fulfillment in the positive impact he can make in patients’ lives. He particularly values CrescentCare’s commitment to serving diverse communities, including uninsured patients and members of the LGBTQ+ community. His experience working with patients facing various health challenges has strengthened his dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Victor is cross-trained across multiple departments at CrescentCare, including Primary Care, PrEP, HIV care, gender-affirming services, STD testing, anoscopy, addiction treatment, and infectious disease. This diverse expertise allows him to provide comprehensive support across various specialties.

Victor wants patients to know that “we’re here for them” and encourages open communication about any issues or concerns. His goal is for every patient to leave feeling comfortable and accomplished in their healthcare journey. When he’s not at work, Victor enjoys cooking, gardening, and snow skiing.
