Dusty Raymond

Dusty is a twenty something year old native of Marrero, Louisiana. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree (BSW) from the Millie M. Charles School of Social Work at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO). He is currently working on his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the same great university from which he received his BSW. Dusty Is the proud Case Manager for the +LOVE Program. When Dusty isn’t speed walking through the halls of Crescent Care or diving his nose into a textbook, he is a community advocate. In 2014, he founded the Roads Organization, which collects clothes to distribute to homeless members of the community during the winter season. In December 2019, he started a Black men’s support group and clothing line called “Black Boys Need Love Too, LLC.” In his personal time, Dusty enjoys dying his hair a variety of colors, eating unhealthy food, watching Wendy Williams, and being a dog Dad to his two adorable sons, Snow (12) and Franklyn (1). Interesting facts about Dusty: he is a published model, owns over 70 bottles of cologne, on average sleeps about 10 hrs a day, loves Patti Labelle, and listens to Summer Walker’s “Girls Need Love” at least 7 times a day. Dusty’s passion for social work stems from his love of people and the love that’s reciprocated from clients. Upon completion of his masters from SUNO, Dusty Plans to apply for the Doctor of Social Work program.
