Abbie Levenson, LCSW

Abbie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned both her bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and her Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Since 2016, she has been committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges through her work in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings across the Greater New Orleans area.

Abbie integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches in her practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She also received a scholarship from the International OCD Foundation to complete specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Abbie is passionate about fostering authentic, compassionate therapeutic relationships that empower clients to build hope, embrace change, and cultivate self-compassion. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and spoiling her senior dog.
