Abbie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received both her bachelor’s degree in film studies and her Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment in the Greater New Orleans area and on the Northshore. She utilizes multiple modalities in her work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Abbie believes in creating authentic and empathic relationships with her clients to help foster hope, change, and self-compassion. When she is not working, Abbie enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
