Tam Pierre, WHNP-BC, CNM
Tam Pierre is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife with more than 20 years of experience in women’s health, obstetrics, and gynecology. She completed her advanced practice training at the University of South Alabama, Frontier University, and Loyola University, and holds board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Administration with a focus on health equity and maternal health outcomes.
At CrescentCare, Tam provides comprehensive women’s health services including routine gynecologic care, reproductive health counseling, prenatal care, STI screening and treatment, menopause and perimenopause management, hormone replacement therapy, adolescent gynecology, and in-office procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, Pap smears, and biopsies. Her goal is to offer patients convenient, all-in-one care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Tam’s approach is grounded in trust, respect, and open communication. She is committed to creating a safe, judgment-free space where patients feel heard and empowered to make confident decisions about their health. She has a deep passion for serving diverse and underserved communities, and is particularly dedicated to improving outcomes for Black women and addressing disparities in maternal health, both in the clinic and through community advocacy partnerships.
Outside of the office, Tam is motivated by her family, including three adult children and a granddaughter. She is also passionate about entrepreneurship, community building, and creating spaces that promote wellness and empowerment.
