When access shrinks, we grow

Dear Friends,

We are honored to share that, for the second year in a row, Gambit readers voted CrescentCare one of the Top 3 Best Places for Mental Health Care in New Orleans. Read more here.

This recognition comes at a pivotal moment. With Planned Parenthood’s closure, patients across our city are losing access to essential care. CrescentCare is preparing to welcome those who need us most by expanding access to our walk-in clinics and hiring a new nurse practitioner.

This November, CrescentCare’s work will also be featured in the Empowered documentary, introduced by Meg Ryan and airing nationwide on Public TV. It’s an incredible opportunity to showcase the impact of your support—and the lives transformed by CrescentCare.

Through recognition, growth, and change, our purpose remains steady: to provide essential health care and supportive services to everyone in our community.

But to protect our ability to keep delivering these services, we have had to make careful adjustments to the way we frame our work online. In today’s climate of heightened scrutiny and threats to federal funding, these changes are necessary to protect our ability to continue delivering these services.

While the words may shift, our commitment never wavers. Behind the scenes, we are forging new partnerships, advocating strategically, and doing everything possible to keep and expand our care for all.

CrescentCare is a lifeline for thousands in the Greater New Orleans. With your generosity, we can keep our doors open wider, meet this urgent demand, and continue delivering care without compromise.

Give today to help CrescentCare rise to this moment.

Thank you for standing with us, investing in health, and helping us weather this storm together.

With gratitude,

Alice Riener
CEO, CrescentCare
