Eva Pesta, LCSW
Eva is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans and MSW from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She utilizes many interventions including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. Her clinical practice includes treating substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and traumatic bereavement. She has worked in the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern Louisiana with survivors of violent crimes. Eva is also the recipient of the Richard Pruss Scholarship for accomplishments in and dedication to treating those with substance use disorders. Eva believes in the importance of tailoring treatment to patients’ unique needs, while incorporating their existing strengths. When she’s not working, Eva enjoys hiking, gardening, home renovations, and walking her dog.
